I've meaning to post this for awhile.  Back in June, these questions were going around facebook, and people were posting their kids' answers.  I really enjoyed reading them, so I decided I would ask these questions to the girls and post their answers here on the ol blog.  Without further ado...

What is something mommy always says to you?

H – I love you.

L – No wrestling

What makes mom happy?

H – to be good (we are good)

L – to clean

What makes mom sad?

H – kids being bad

L – not following directions

How does your mom make you laugh?

H – tickling

L – singing songs

What was your mom like as a child?

H – what does child mean?  She played

L – she was good

How old is your mom?

L – 37

H – 37

How tall is your mom?

H – 4

L – about a couple of feet

What is her favorite thing to do?

H – play with her kids and have fun

L – watch tv

What does your mom do when you’re not around?

H – clean, make dinner, and do the laundry

L – work hard at work

If your mom became famous, what would it be for?

H – for working.  She is the best. And she works hard for being a mom.

L – For being an awesome mom.

What is your mom really good at?

H – she likes to be the famous mom and cooking dinner and work hard

L – she’s really good at being funny

What does your mom do for a job?

H – she does cooking for a job, taco bell for a job, cleaning for a job.

L – she used to work with pets at stores

What is your mom’s favorite food?

L – tacos

H – macaroni and cheese and tomato soup and whatever she bakes

What makes you proud of your mom?

H – for being the best kid ever and for being the best mom ever

L – for being the best mom ever

L – read

H – she likes to play with her kids always

H – being the best mom and having curly hair

L – we’re both in the same family

H – from not having the curly hair and straight hair

L – we are different because you have green eyes and I have brown.

How do you know your mom loves you?

H – for being the goodest and best and the famous mom ever

L – she’s always there for me

What does your mom like most about your dad?

H – by marrying him

L – he’s silly

Where is your mom’s favorite place to go?

H – to church

L – beach

H – 37

I thought I would also start posting some of my menus/recipes here too.  Some of my new years resolutions I have done well on so far and some not so well. I have done really well with meal planning.  It has drastically reduced the amount of eating out we have done.  So last week's menu went like this:

M - Cabbage stew

T - Sausage, beans, peppers, onion, mushrooms

W - Chicken pot pie

R - Vegetable soup

F - FFY (fend for yourself)  We went to the movies and the kids filled up on snacks.

This week's meals:

M - Pork chops and baked beans

T - FF (fast food) We have a piano studio on the north side of town after work/daycare.  No time to come home.

W - Chicken enchiladas

R - Fish tacos

F - leftovers/FFY

Sometimes I cook on the weekend, and sometimes I don't depending on what we have planned.  If I cook, I usually buy supplies when I do my Saturday grocery run.  Often we grill or something like that.  Granted the weather has not been overly cooperative this year.  But I am hopeful for a dry August.  Have a nice week!
